LostButNotLost | I did a card spread for how someone feels about going into a relationship with me and I got the high priestess R. If anyone could help me on figuring out what this card could mean please leave your response thankyou. I have a clue as to what it might mean but I'd like a wider view on what it might also mean/seen by others! |
beccathelion | they aren't listening to their inner intuition. something's off. either that or they see you in that light. are you denying yourself something? making yourself unavailable? that said, it's always hard without the surrounding cards. |
Twirl | I've seen this card come up reversed for relationships in which the partner is only in it for the 'fun' (sex) and sees it as a 'challenge' getting it from you. Are you normally the type that doesn't bind herself easy to a man? The type of men I saw high priestess rx for are normally completely clueless about what being female is/means and they have a rather distorted view on woman (distrust issues etc.) Sorry it is a rather negative take and discard it if you want if course, but this is just how I experienced the card. Edit: for feelings I would say the cards possibly point out to you that he doesn't want to go there/take it to that level. As Becca says: other cards in the spread are very important of course., |

i really, really like how you put that. i definitely am going to start using that as an interpretation. thanks but also sorry to OP |
EmpressMendez | For me personally it has showed up for something that you aren't yet aware of regarding him, and possibly another woman. It could also mean that he's a womanizer. Like Twirl, I apologize and feel free to disregard this information if it doesn't apply to your situation. Best of luck =) |
LostButNotLost | Thank you all for you're replies I got confused a bit because my inner intuition feels like it's telling me that he's denying something that's there.. But mostly it's because he's been hurt before so he's afraid to open up again. Yes he is a womenizer! haha, but.... there's this connection I feel we have that's too strong to ignore. Again thank you those were wonderful!! |
EmpressMendez | Yeah, my experience with that card was similar. I also felt a 'connection' with the guy, but he isn't the commitment type. He also did have many friends-with-benefits I didn't know of at the time. His feelings for me were purely sexual though..=/ I do still "love" him, haha ("Love at first sight" guy I met @ 16 online. Actually we went to the same jr HS I just didn't notice him back then) |
LostButNotLost | lmfao sounds just like me! :P argghh! |
Twirl | Yes, womanizer sums it up! With all due respect, I also see the attraction plus I always hear women say: it is because he is hurt in the past. Errr... Might be, but there is no saving this man from the distorted 'female view' and the women who do go for the type after all, mostly end up severely heartbroken and disappointed (and ask me to put down more cards to see why he doesn't call, etc.) Sorry to be blunt again and dismiss it if you want, but if you can prevent the affair, I would advise you to do so Best of luck and I hope all does work out well for you of course |
